Veterinary Animal Caretaker & Assistant
We have an immediate opening for an assistant who will provide a variety of services including LOTS of cleaning, animal care, and assisting the technicians and veterinarians with treatments. This position involves lots of routine cleaning but also provides an opportunity to learn many new skills. This position will be 30-40 hours weekly and includes full benefits after the initial 90 days. There will be required weekend and holiday hours, as we also provide boarding. We currently have an opening for a receptionist. We are looking for an individual who is organized, diplomatic and compassionate towards both animals and people. This position involves scheduling, multi-line phones, cash handling and lots of interaction with the public. We are especially looking for someone who is comfortable multitasking and taking on a support role for busy doctors and technicians. Experience in the veterinary field and with customer service is preferred. This position is 35-40 hours per week. We are a small, tight-knit general and specialty practice and strive to provide a positive environment for not only our clients and patients but also our employees.
