Neuter Estimate

Neuter

Neutering is an important procedure that can not only improve the health of your pet, but possibly deter potential behavioral problems from developing. The neuter surgery is a relatively minor procedure with a recommended recovery period of 10
-14 days.

The following services are included in our neuter:

  • Neuter Surgery

  • IV Fluids (this stabilizes blood pressure under anesthesia)
  • EKG monitoring- as well as other important vitals
  • Blood work- Pre anesthetic blood profile is the minimum requirement. You can opt to do more extensive blood work with the guidance of your veterinarian (additional blood work will increase the price of your estimate).
  • Re-check appointment

The following are services that may be added:

  • Go-home oral pain relief medications ($15-75)
  • Elizabethan collar to prevent disturbance of surgery site ($12-22)
  • Vaccinations if needed ($20-45 each)

All listed estimate prices are not final. There are variances in each surgery preformed; depending on age of pet, physical condition of pet, and any possible unforeseen complications. After a regular evaluation with your veterinarian we can give a more accurate estimate for your specific pet. Examinations are required before performing elective surgery so we can be assured that your pet is in well enough health for the procedure.
