When Jennifer is out of the office, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.  Her family includes two sons, Hunter and Aidan, a Dachshund, Ozzy, and two cats, Winky and Louis.

Honey, Receptionist

Honey joined the BBVH staff in 2006.  She has worked as a Veterinary Receptionist for the past three years; returning to the paid-working world after ten years of raising and homeschooling her sons, Keegan and Killian.  While formally trained as a pattern maker, she found that working in an environment helping animals and their people better suits her personality.

Outside of work she enjoys camping, kayaking, and walking.  She shares her life with her husband Mike, and a BIG twenty-four pound orange tabby cat, Baxter, and the newest addition to the family, a cute cocker spaniel named Doc.

Brittney, Receptionist

Brittney joined our staff in March 2010.  She went to school to be certified as a professional zookeeper.  She worked for several years as a zookeeper for an animal refuge with a large variety of exotic animals. She also has previous experience working as a receptionist in veterinary hospitals. She shares her home with her husband and 3 kitties, Tiger, Emilie, and Lily.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband watching movies, camping, hiking, and exploring new places.  Her other hobbies include crosstitching, cake decoration, and cooking.

Nicole, Receptionist

Nicole joined BBVH in October 2008. She has worked in many different fields, her last being a NON-Profit. Her true passion is working with animals, and has a very strong love for animals of all kinds. Nicole's daily routine consists of preparing charts, answering phones, scheduling appointments, general office duties, and from time to time sneaking to the back to play with the cats and dogs.

When Nicole is outside of work she enjoys spending time with her son, daughter, and husband. She also enjoys singing, outside activities, and learning how to knit.

Although Nicole does not currently own any pets, she has an extreme passion for Cornish Rex cats. She has previously owned 10, and is looking to add to that number in the future.

Summer, Technician Supervisor

Summer has been working in the veterinary field for almost 10 years.  She started as a Veterinary Assistant and worked her way up to fulfilling the duties of a full-fledged Veterinary Technician.  She joined the staff of Barbur Blvd. October 2004, and was promoted to head technician April 2008.

Summer's daily routine may consist of assisting the doctor, client relations, lab work, blood draws, x-rays, dentals, anesthesia and assisting with surgeries. And of course, the added bonus of spending time loving all the pets.  Summer's sincere compassion for pets makes her very popular with clients and she is often requested by name for tech procedures.
